Join us Thursday evening @ 7pm for a in-store screening of “Reflection”, a new film by The Grove, with all proceeds going towards providing accessible mental health supports for individuals experiencing eating disorders.
The film follows Tori Wood as she shares about her ongoing battle with mental health and how she is attempting to confront that trauma through enduro mountain bike racing. Traumatic experiences as a young gymnast left Tori struggling heavily with depression, anxiety and an eating disorder into adulthood. After working through the darkest moments of her life, she found mountain biking and racing came naturally. In her 2023 season, Tori’s past trauma creeps back into her life and she needs to change her perspective as an elite athlete to reflect newfound priorities.
The screening of “Reflection” will be followed by a panel discussion including Tori herself, Director Casey Dubois, and Looking Glass Foundation’s Director of Clinical Services Kaela Scott. Attendees will also enjoy live music by Harvey Sunshine, merch from WIRTH Hats available for purchase, as well as beer and zero-proof beverages.

Wirth Hats was created to honour our friend Jakob Wirth, lover of hats, who hoped to one day start his own hat company. To date, Wirth Hats has sponsored thousands of hours of therapy for those who need it most. Our hope is for our hats to encourage us to check in on our homies, accept us as we are, & make mental health services more accessible. Read the full Wirth story at: wirthhats.com/story
